The electoral district of Western Victoria Region is one of the eight electoral divisions of the state of Victoria, Australia, each of which elects five members to the upper house of the Parliament of Victoria, the Victorian Legislative Council, by proportional representation. It was created in 2006 following the reform of the Legislative Council by the Australian Labor Party state government of Steve Bracks. It comprises the Legislative Assembly districts of Ballarat East, Ballarat West, Bellarine, Geelong, Lara, Lowan, Melton, Polwarth, Ripon, South Barwon and South-West Coast.
The current Western Victoria Region elected members at the 2010 state election. The Liberal Party and the Australian Labor Party won two seats each, while the National Party won one seat.
